Calling All HEI Student Innovators including incubated start-ups! Apply Now for 3rd edition of the IDE Bootcamp (Phase 1)

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC)successfully organized “Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamps” First Edition. This initiative, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to nurture the innovation, design, and entrepreneurial skills of student innovators and innovation ambassadors from higher education institutes. In the previous 02 Edition of this program 46 bootcamps have been organized in 5 phases all across India by AICTE and MIC. We encourage all higher education institutions to motivate their students to participate in the IDE Bootcamp and to spread this information within the student community.

Now, in the 3rd Edition of IDE Bootcamp (Phase 1), AICTE and MIC are organizing 15 Bootcamps at the following locations (one Bootcamp per location) during the period of  09th February -13th  February   2026:

This is an incredible opportunity for students and early-stage incubated start-ups with ground breaking project ideas to gain the skills and support needed to bring their innovations to life.

The bootcamp is a 5-day residential training program where IDE Bootcamp aims to equip participants with critical competencies and a strategic framework to strengthen India’s AI ecosystem, with focus on compute capacity, the IndiaAI Innovation Centre, application development, startup financing, future skills, the AIKosh Dataset Platform, and Safe & Trusted AI. The programme shall also cover product design, ergonomics, financial literacy, design thinking, and pitching, thereby preparing participants to emerge as future innovators and entrepreneurs.

 Accommodation and meals will be provided to participants during the IDE Bootcamps.

Note: Students are advised to indicate their location preferences in order of priority to attend the IDE Bootcamp at the nearest possible venue. Location allocation will be carried out by the Innovation Cell based on seat availability and proximity. The final allocation of locations for the selected participants shall be solely at the discretion of the Innovation Cell.
