KSUM | Amal Jyothi College of Egineering | IEDC Startup Summit | District Cluster Hackathons

 Greetings from Kerala Startup Mission.

We are happy to inform you that Kerala Startup Mission, in association with Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, is organising the IEDC Startup Summit on 7 March 2026.

About the IEDC Startup Summit

The IEDC Startup Summit is a statewide, outcome-driven initiative aimed at transforming the IEDC ecosystem from being predominantly activity-oriented to becoming startup- and market-focused.

The Summit supports Campus-to-Market acceleration by identifying district-specific problem statements and enabling promising student startups/innovators to access mentorship, market opportunities, and investment support. Designed as a high-impact platform, the initiative seeks to build a cohesive and performance-driven innovation ecosystem across all 14 districts of Kerala.

In this regard, we invite all IEDC Nodal Officers and selected student representatives from institutions to attend the Summit. The registration link and details regarding the program will be shared shortly.

District Cluster Hackathons

As part of the IEDC Startup Summit, cluster-wise district-level hackathons will be conducted across Kerala. Each district hackathon will be aligned with the district’s economic strengths, resources, and policy priorities, ensuring that student innovations are locally relevant, market-linked, and scalable. These hackathons will serve as the primary pre-Summit discovery mechanism, enabling the identification of high-potential teams and ideas.

The best ideas/startups from institutions may be recommended to their respective clusters, and the top teams at the cluster level will receive the opportunity to participate in the IEDC Startup Summit. Selected teams will also receive continuous support from Kerala Startup Mission throughout the year.

The themes for the District Cluster Hackathons are provided below.

All institutions are requested to circulate these themes and initiate the call for idea applications at their campuses. The submission link for the same will be shared shortly.
