ToyNova 2026 Innovation Challenge | Reimagining the Future of Play

 Dear All,

Building on the phenomenal success of the ToyBiz Innovation Challenge 2025—which saw 170+ innovative designs and nationwide participation— The Toy Association of India (TAI), in collaboration with Srijan Sanchar as Innovation Partner, is proud to announce the launch of ToyNova 2026.

India has always been a land of storytelling and imagination. ToyNova 2026 is designed to bridge our rich heritage with modern technology, transforming toys into AI-enabled learning tools and inclusive companions that drive the vision of an  Atmanirbhar Bharat.

 Innovation Focus & Problem Statements

We are looking for creative solutions across four key pillars:

  • Affordable AI Toys: Budget-friendly, interactive learning tools.
  • Future Toy 2030: Tech-enhanced toys rooted in Indian cultural values.
  • Inclusive & Therapeutic Toys: Designs for the elderly, neurodivergent, or visually impaired.
  • DIY Learning Toys: Sustainable kits that inspire hands-on creativity.

 Why Participate?

Selected finalists will receive:

  • Cash Prizes: Up to ₹25,000 for top winners.
  • National Platform: Showcase your prototype at the ToyBiz 2026 Expo in Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), New Delhi.
  • Industry Access:  Direct mentorship, incubation pathways, and interaction with industry leaders.

 Key Timeline

  • Submission Deadline:  30 May 2026
  • Jury Evaluation: June 2026
  • Grand Finale & Awards: July 2026 (During ToyBiz Expo)
